This last week has been crazy! Joseph and I went in for an ultrasound on Wednesday to learn the sex of the baby but also to take all those measurements that the doctor makes to make sure the baby is growing and everything is developing. Well when it finally came time to tell us the sex our baby was asleep with its legs crossed. Not what we wanted. The ultrasound technician was just like, "Oh well." I asked her if there was anything we could do to move the baby like jump around or drink more water. Anything to make the baby move. She simply said, "No, the baby will move if it wants to move." So we left feeling very disappointed that baby would not cooperate. So after a couple of days Joseph and I decided that we would go pay for another ultrasound at a place where some of our friends had been to find out the sex of their babies. So yesterday was the big day. I drank so much sugary drinks so that the baby would not be asleep. This time baby was still asleep but it was in the perfect position for the ultrasound technician to see what the sex was.
